About the Recipe

This delicious soft cornbread will be stolen from your serving dish

Ingredients

500 g butter

500 g eggs

950 g buttermilk


564 g sugar

700 g cornmeal

540 g all purpose flour

10g baking soda

13g baking powder

10g salt




Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat and keep it to a side. keep it warm

  2. Get all the dry ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment.

  3. Add eggs and buttermilk slowly while its mixing on low speed.

  4. scrape the sides of the bowl and add melted butter while mixing slowly

  5. put into a hotel pan if you do the full batch. if you do a half a batch put into a half hotel pan or similar pan.

  6. Bake in a 350 F heated oven for about 30 to 40 minutes.

  7. cut into desired shapes and warm them up before serving for better texture.
