About the Recipe
This simple and easy pie crust recipe will be used for many purposes. you can make pies or empanadas or an be used for different purposes
Ingredients
450 g Ap flour
50 g Sugar
1 tsp Salt
225 g Butter cold diced
1 Eggs
1/2 Cup Ice cold water
Preparation
Step 01
Dice butter into small dices and keep them cold until you are ready to proceed
Step 02
In a food processor combine AP flour, sugar, salt and cold butter with a few pulse. but should feel like crumbly texture to the touch. Then add the egg and ice cold water and give it a another few pulses and it should be done.
you need to see some small butter pieces in the dough.
Step 03
Shape the dough into a bowl and wrap with plastic and let it rest in a refrigerator for about 30 minutes
Step 04
Roll the dough in to a thin sheet and cut into desired size of circles and make pie crust using pie pans or shells.

Baking temperature is 325 F for most regular pies, but baking timing can be different according to the pie filling and the thickness of the pie.
