About the Recipe

This delicious pound cake recipe is perfect with some fruits and cream for a brunch menu for your guests

Ingredients

  • 182 g Butter

  • 150 g Sugar

  • 3 ea Eggs

  • 75 g Yogurt

  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 173 g Cake flour

  • 3/4 tsp Baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Bring butter to room temperature. cream butter and sugar for about 3 minutes. Add few eggs at a time while mixing followed by yogurt and vanilla.


Step 2

Mix together Flour, Baking powder and salt in a bowl. add the flour mixer into butter mixer in few additions scraping the sides of the bowl few times.


Step 3

Fill the mixture into a cake loaf pan and Bake at 325 F for about 40 - 45 minutes
