These sourdough soft rolls are great for private dinner party

Ingredients
Ingredients :
Sourdough:
100 g Bread flour
100 g water room temp
Mix water and flour together and keep it covered in a warm place for about 12 to 15 hours.
Main dough:
56 g butter room temp
200 g water room temp
200 g milk
40 g sugar
15 g salt
200 g sour dough
750 g bread flour
10 g active dry yeast

Preparation
Method:
In a small pan warm up half of the milk, butter and sugar. just to warm enough to dissolve sugar and then add the remaining milk into the warm milk mixture let it cool down to room temp.
Add water into the mixing bowl and add yeast in and let it sit for about 5 minutes. then add all the dry ingredients Flour, salt, and followed by sourdough and the milk mixture into a mixing bowl.
Mix on the law speed for about 2 minutes and and mix on the medium speed for about 6- 7 minutes.
put the dough into a large bowl with enough room to proof the dough. let it rest for about 1 hour or to rise double in volume.
put the dough into a floured surface and break the dough into 40 g to 45 g small dough pieces. and roll them into balls and put them into a greased sheet tray.
let the rolls proof for about 20 minutes until the rolls proof double in size. spray some water on to the rolls and bake them at 400 F for about 12 to 15 minutes. rotate the sheet while baking to get the even color.
You can apply some butter on the rolls when they come out of the oven if you desire softer rolls. You can even sprinkle some sea salt on top right after you butter them.
You can even cut the very top of the rolls with a scissor before you put them in the oven.
